Notes active & inactive

When logging into Unity under the Notes section it shows (for example) Notes (4). When I have completed the Note I tick the box to make it hidden. However, every time I go into the file I see Notes(3) or Notes (1). Then I have to check the Notes section to see what has to be done - only to discover there are no Notes. I would like to have this section marked Notes Active (1) and Notes Inactive (3). Or better yet, if there are no active notes, it should indicate 0. This way, when logging into a file I don't need to check the Notes tab is I see no Active Notes.

Good Morning and thank you for your feedback!

The Unity "Notes" tab was designed based on customer feedback. It was requested that the notes page be a diarization of events or important notes about the file, and that you should not be able to edit or delete something from that record for file retention policy reasons.

The Sticky Notes function can be used for temporary tasks and reminders. These can be edited and/or deleted once completed.

We also strongly encourage you to use the new Matter Checklist functionality in Unity to keep track of any tasks for your matter. This allows you the ability to set due dates for any important tasks and to mark tasks as completed. I hope you have a great day :)
