I was opening a file yesterday and when I entered the vendor's lawyer's name, Unity did not find the lawyer or the firm and I needed to add them so that I could complete my file. Today, I received a message that the lawyer/firm were already a contact in the Unity database (which is what I thought should have happened yesterday, but it did not). I tried searching for the lawyer in every conceivable way before adding them. It would be helpful to be able to respond to messages directly to explain what happened or to ask questions about the issue.
Thank you, I agree completely and have voiced this to a CSR before. Their messages can be a bit abrupt by insinuating that us clerks did not search properly or enter details properly. It is time consuming adding details, and the last thing we need is a message we cannot reply to telling us we did not search hard enough, when we searched every possible way. There should be a way to communicate more clearly, and be able to respond. I hope this is implemented eventually.
