It's frustrating that Unity does not input the first set of numbers from a tax roll number. These first sets DO NOT signify a specific property, it's an indicator of the area. IE: Barrie is 43 42 whereas Innisfil is 43 16. This information DOES NOT reflect a specific property. Because Unity does not have that automatically entered, I've started to save that information into Unity under tax so my coworkers can locate it for when we have to input tax information. Funny.. but received all 49 messages from Unity saying that they don't do it because it identifies a specific property; no it does not. You would think someone at Unity would know and understand this.
These numbers are set with the Municipalities/Townships and will never change. The first four digits should already be in Unity as a lot of tax certificates don't include the first four and you have to look it up.
